Arepas are a part of our culture and daily table. Arepas are made from gluten free corn flour and formed into a large circular shape. This versatile dish can be prepared on a grill, fried, or roasted, and are filled to the brim with our delicious unique fillings!

Empanadas are perhaps South Americas most known dish, with each country and region having their own unique take and twist on this famous hand pie. Our empanadas are traditional Colombian Empanadas, made from corn flour and elaborated with our family recipe originating from Northern Colombia.

WHO ARE WE?
Arepa consists of a brother and sister startup from Colombia who wants to present the goood stuff from our favorite Colombian streetfood. Our vision is to empower South American cuisine and culture in Norway.
The project started in 2009 when our family began working with traditional Colombian Arepas and Empanadas throughout various food festivals in Kristiansand, Norway.
We are now bringing our new concept of Arepa and local Colombian cuisine to Oslo, where we will be making various dishes such as Arepas, Empanadas, Colombian Coffee and tropical juices.
All of our dishes are gluten-free, and we also provide many lactose-free, vegan and vegetarian options.
We follow our family recipes, elaborated with high quality ingredients and lots of love!
